Todd Glaesmann joined the Stone Crabs outfield platoon in late 2012 after recieveing the call-up Bowling Green in late July. He played in 36 games for the Stone Crabs, hitting .295 with 8 doubles, 2 triples and 8 homers. His performance with the Hot Rods and the Stone Crabs led to him being named the Rays Minor League Player of the Year for 2012.

Glaesmann was drafted by the Rays in the third round of the 2009 draft out of Midway High School in Texas.
