Ryan Morse joined the Stone Crabs on a three game stint from the Montgomery Biscuits. In the time in Port Charlotte, he was 0-1 with a 4.82 ERA and 10 strikeouts in 9 1/3 innings.
Morse was drafted by the Devil Rays in the 13th round of the 2005 draft. He spent his first pro season with the Princeton Devil Rays in 2005. He started there in 2006 and was then promoted to the Hudson Valley Renegades to conclude the season. He was sent to the Columbus Catfish in 2007 and the promoted to Vero Beach Devil Rays for 2008. He spent his final season with the organization in 2009, splitting time with the Montgomery Biscuits and the Stone Crabs.
Following the 2009 season, Morse was released. He then joined the St Paul Saints of the independent American Association for the 2010 season.
