Matt Hall is a utility infielder that spent most of the majority of the past two seasons as a member of the Stone Crabs. Hall spent most of 2009 and all of 2010 with the Stone Crabs, playing in 177 games. In his time with the Stone Crabs, Hall hit .199 with 16 doubles, 4 triples, 6 home runs, 40 RBI’s and 9 stolen bases.
Hall rejoined the Stone Crabs to start the 2011 season.
Hall was drafted by the Rays in the 10th round of the 2008 draft out of Auburn. He split time in 2008 between the Princeton Rays and Vero Beach Devils Rays. In 2009 he spent most of the season with the Stone Crabs, but went to the Montgomery Biscuits and Durham Bulls for two quick assignments before returning to the Stone Crabs where he would remain for the remainder of the 2009 season and all of the 2010 season.
