Jake Jefferies was the Stone Crabs primary catcher for the 2010 season. He hit .215/.275/.290 with 15 doubles, 2 triples, a home run and 30 RBIs in 102 games while throwing out 20 basestealers. He then returned to the Stone Crabs for a second stint in May of 2011.
Jefferies was the Rays third round draft pick in the 2008 draft out of UC Davis. He made his debut in 2008 with the Hudson Valley Renegades and played for Bowling Green in 2009 before being joining the Stone Crabs in 2010.
