Henry Wrigley


Henry Wrigley was a big bat in the Stone Crabs lineup for the second half of 2009 and the first half of 2010. He led the Stone Crabs in home runs at the end of the 2010 season despite being promoted midseason. He played a total of 138 games with the Stone Crabs and hit .269/.445/.306 with 28 doubles, 5 triples, 18 home runs and 89 RBI’s. He was also a 2010 Florida State League All-Star.

Wrigley was drafted by the Devil Rays in the 14th round of the 2005 draft out of the College of San Mateo. He debuted with the Princeton Devil Rays in 2006 and was promoted to the Hudson Valley Renegades in 2007. Henry was promoted again in 2008 to the Columbus Catfish. He started the 2009 season with the Bowling Green Hot Rods until a midseason promotion to the Stone Crabs.

Wrigley was promoted to the Montgomery Biscuits following the end of the first half of the 2010 season.
