Alex Colome

Alex Colome joined the Stone Crabs towards the end of the 2010 season.  He spent much of his season with Bowling Green before being promoted to the Stone Crabs during the last week of the season.  He made one lone start for the Stone Crabs resulting in a 2.25 ERA, allowing 1 run on 5 hits with 8 strikeouts.

He rejoined the Stone Crabs to start the 2011 season.

 
Colome joined the Rays organization as an undrafted free agent in 2007.  Since then he has been named an all-star twice, first in the New-York Penn League in 2009 and then in the Midwest League in 2010.  Alex spent 2007 with the DSL Rays, 2008 with the Princeton Rays, 2009 with Hudson Valley Renegades and most of 2010 with the Bowling Green Hot Rods before his promotion to Charlotte.
