Stone Crabs Surrender Lead, Lose to Bradenton

The Stone Crabs tied the game once again in the top of the ninth.  Lowe drew a walk to put the tying run on the basepath.  Peter Maris single to right, moving Lowe to third.  Then a sac fly by Fraley scored Lowe and tied the game.

But the Marauders used home field advantage to pick up the win.  A single nad back to back walks loaded the bases for the Marauders.  Then a bases loaded free pass to Arribas scored Hill and handed the Stone Crabs the 7-6 walk-off loss.

Taylor Hawkins was charged with the loss for the Stone Crabs.  Jess Amedee was the winning pitcher for Bradenton.

The Stone Crabs look to avoid the sweep in the series finale on Sunday afternoon at LECOM Park.
