The Florida State League has released their end of season awards and Jacob Faria and Brad Schreiber both were honored by the league with a spot on the Postseason All-Star Team. In addition to being named All-Stars, Faria was also named the Co-Pitcher of the Year for the league.
Faria led the Stone Crabs rotation this season before his promotion to Montgomery. Faria was 10-1 with a 1.33 ERA and 63 strikeouts in 12 games for the Stone Crabs. His ten wins still leads the team despite being promoted midway through the season.
Schreiber still sits in second place in the FSL in saves with 18 on the season even though he was promoted to Montgomery in the beginning of July. Schreiber converted 18 of 20 save opportunities from the Stone Crabs bullpen.
