Caldwell scored on a sac fly by Oscar Rojas and Astacio later scored on a single by Blake Grant-Parks to tie the game.

The Orioles regained the lead in the bottom of the fifth. An RBI single by Daniel Fajardo would score Branden Becker and Frank Crinella to give the Orioles a 4-2 lead.

The Orioles added an insurance run in the eighth as the Rays fell 5-2.
