The Rays have promoted infielder Jace Conrad and righty Brent Honeywell to the Stone Crabs from the Bowling Green Hot Rods.
Conrad is in his second season in the organization after being drafted by the Rays in the 13th round of the 2014 Draft. He was hitting .332 with 11 doubles, a triple and 10 home runs in 59 games for the Hot Rods. He has been named an all-star in each of his professional seasons.
Honeywell was also part of the 2014 draft class, taken by the Rays out of Walters State Community College. The 2015 Midwest League All-Star was 4-4 with a 2.91 ERA and 76 strikeouts in 12 starts for the Hot Rods.
