The Stone Crabs fell short by one run as they dropped the finale against the Dunedin Blue Jays 4-3 on Thursday night, splitting the four game series.

Dunedin took the lead in the first inning. A two run single by Dawel Lugo gave the Blue Jays a 2-0 lead.

The Stone Crabs bounced back to take the lead in the fifth inning. They tied the game on back to back solo home runs by Pat Blair and Armando Araiza to lead off the inning. The Stone Crabs loaded the bases via a double by Kean Wong and walk by Willy Adames and Jake Bauers. A bases loaded walk to Marty Gantt scored Wong and gave the Stone Crabs a 3-2 lead.

The Blue Jays regained the lead an inning later on a two run home run by Matt Dean to put Dunedin in front 4-3.
The Stone Crabs put the tying run in scoring position in the ninth but failed to score the run as they fell to the Blue Jays 4-3.
