The Stone Crabs struggled to get anything going offensively as they were shut-out by the St Lucie Mets on Sunday afternoon at Tradition Field. The Stone Crabs defense committed three errors resulting in four unearned runs in the loss.

The game was scoreless until the bottom of the fifth inning. Amed Rosario singled to center to lead off the inning. He would later score on a fielding error to give the Mets a 1-0 lead.

The Mets added three more runs in the bottom of the eighth inning to hand the Stone Crabs the 4-0 loss.
German Marquez was charged with the loss for the Stone Crabs.

The Stone Crabs return home to Charlotte Sports Park for a three game series against the Jupiter Hammerheads on Monday. Buddy Borden will face Jarlin Garcia in the opener.
