McCalvin Transferred to Extended Spring Training

Stone Crabs reliever Justin McCalvin has been transferred to extended spring training. McCalvin appeared in five games for the Stone Crabs this season. He was 0-0 with a 4.26 ERA and 5 strikeouts in 6 1/3 innings. After giving up three runs in his first two outings, McCalvin has been scoreless in the last three outing for the Stone Crabs.

McCalvin is in his second year of professional baseball after being drafted by the Rays in the 19th round of the 2014 draft out of Kennesaw State.
