The Stone Crabs were officially eliminated from the playoffs following a 5-2 loss to St Lucie Mets on Tuesday at Tradition Field. The Stone Crabs jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the second inning on an RBI single by Marty Gantt and an RBI by Jonathan Quinonez. The lead held much of the game until a four run seventh by the Mets. The Mets added an insurance run in the eighth to hand the Stone Crabs the loss. Austin Pruitt was charged with the loss for the Stone Crabs. The series concludes on Wednesday at Tradition Field with Blake Snell starting the finale.
