4 errors sink Rays against Twins in Port Charlotte

The GCL Rays committed four errors in a 4-3 loss to the Twins at the Port Charlotte Sports Complex today, and the Red Sox beat the Orioles 4-2, eliminating the Rays from the playoffs at the end of the week.  Outfielder Cade Gotta, who hit two home runs in yesterday’s win, was removed from today’s game for precautionary reasons after being hit in the head by a pitch in the first inning. Shortstop Bill Pujols was 2-4 with a double and an RBI today. RHP Abrahan Rodriguez took the L for the Rays, who continue their season ending series with the Twins tomorrow. RHP Ryne Stanek threw a 1-2-3 first inning for the Rays in a rehab start.
