Two Former GCL Rays Named New York-Penn League All-Star

nypl-as-logoThe Hudson Valley Renegades has a record seven players nominated as All-Stars and two of them are former GCL Rays. Pitcher Nolan Gannon and outfield Bralin Jackson have been named 2014 NYP All-Stars.

Gannon is 5-2 with 2.68 ERA and 43 strikeouts in 9 starts for the Renegades.

Jackson is hitting .296 with 12 doubles, 3 triples and a home run in 50 games this season for the Renegades.

Both players spent the 2012 season with the GCL Rays.

The 2014 New York-Penn League All-Star Game will be held at MCU Park, home of the Brooklyn Cyclones on August 19th.
