Several Stone Crabs to Play in Tampa Bay-Montgomery Game today

RAR_FEATURE_wlh59uow_94aue2grThe Tampa Bay Rays traveled north to Riverwalk Stadium, the home of their Double-A affiliate for the final exhibition game of the season as they face the Montgomery Biscuits. Many Stone Crabs made the trip north to play in Rays at Riverwalk game at 2:05 this afternoon.

Six of the ten starters for Montgomery have spent time in Port Charlotte with the Stone Crabs. These include:

  • Willie Argo
  • Ryan Brett
  • Curt Casali
  • Jake Hager
  • Victor Mateo
  • Taylor Motter
  • Alejandro Segoiva
  • Richie Shaffer

Many more Stone Crabs may also see playing time in today’s game including Jeff Malm and Riccio Torrez who are expected to play for the Biscuits in the late innings.

Kes Carter, Dylan Floro, Hector Guevara, Jake Thompson and Jimmy Patterson are also dressed to play in today’s game for the Rays.

First pitch is expected at 2:05 with former Stone Crab Mateo getting the start opposite Rays starter Chris Archer.
