Glaesmann Announces His Retirement

Todd GlaesmannFormer Stone Crabs outfield Todd Glaesmann has announced his retirement from professional baseball. Glaesmann was traded to the Arizona Diamondbacks this season as part of a multi-player deal.

Glaesmann was in the Stone Crabs outfield during the 2012 season. He hit .333 with 8 doubles, 2 triples and 8 home runs in 36 games after being promoted to the Stone Crabs.

Glaesmann was drafted by the Rays in the third round of the 2009 Draft. He was the Rays Minor League Player of the Year in 2012.
