Rays finalize Crain trade: send Bierman, Kline to Chicago

Wednesday morning the Rays announced that the two pieces in the Jesse Crain trade were to be former Stone Crabs Ben Kline and Sean Bierman. The addition of Kline, an infielder, will complete the trade.

Kline played in 19 games for the Stone Crabs in 2013, batting .192 with three RBIs. Kline also pitched two innings in emergency relief, allowing a homerun and striking out a pair. The infielder was drafted in 2012 out of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Florida.
