FSL Championship Series Preview: Stone Crabs vs Daytona Cubs

Daytona_Cubs_(team_logo)The Stone Crabs find themselves in the Florida State Championship Series for the third time in franchise history. They will be battling the Daytona Cubs for the league title. The best of five series begins tonight with the first two games at Jackie Robinson Ballpark in Daytona before returning home to Charlotte Sports Park for games three through five.

The Stone Crabs have dominated the season series against the Cubs this year, going 6-0-1 on the year. The Stone Crabs have outscored the Cubs 35-17 and are hitting .289 and have a team ERA of 1.68 against the Cubs.

The Daytona Cubs play their home games at Jackie Robinson Ballpark which is located at 105 East Orange Avenue in Daytona Beach, Florida. The stadium is 220 miles or just under 4 hours from Charlotte Sports Park.

Tickets for games at Jackie Robinson Ballpark can be purchased by visiting www.daytonacubs.com and are $12 for a VIP ticket (with in-seat waiter service), $7 general admission, $6 senior/child/military. Parking is free. Full-Season Ticket holders with the Stone Crabs can use their VIP card for free admission to the Stone Crabs road games in Daytona.
