The Stone Crabs team made two corresponding roster moves on Tuesday evening. Utility player Taylor Motter was activated from the 7-day DL after serving a stint due to a hamstring strain. Motter was hitting .298 in 53 games, with 14 doubles, two homeruns, and 19 stolen bases.
At the same time, infielder Ben Kline was sent to the Short-Season Hudson Valley Renegades. The 24 year-old hit .192 with the Stone Crabs; he also pitched two innings, allowing a run and striking out two. Kline was a 32nd round draft pick by the Tampa Bay Rays in 2012, out of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
