Garvin added to Stone Crabs roster

Grayson GarvinCharlotte starter Grayson Garvin, after serving a rehab assignment with the GCL Rays, was added to the Stone Crabs roster today, according to the team. Garvin has been sidelined since the 2012 season due to Tommy John Surgery on his left elbow. The six-foot, six-inch southpaw served six games with the GCL Rays, pitching 11 and two-thirds innings and maintaining a 2.31 ERA.

Garvin was selected by the Tampa Bay Rays in the first round (59 overall) in the 2011 draft out of Vanderbilt University.
