Parker Markel On Saturday evening, the team announced that starting pitchers Jesse Hahn and Parker Markel were both placed on the disabled list. Hahn was removed after two innings from his previous start on July 21 with arm soreness. Markel has struggled with recurrent shoulder pain since his July 10 outing, and thereafter skipped one start before attempting an appearance on July 22, where he lasted only two innings. Hahn was 2-1 with a 2.11 ERA, and Markel held a 4-7 record with a 6.37 ERA.

No roster moves have been announced as of yet, but southpaws Sean Bierman and Jake Partridge will likely be filling their slots in the rotation until transactions are made, if that is to pass.
