Series Preview: Stone Crabs vs Bradenton Marauders

The Stone Crabs begin a crucial three game series against the division leading Bradenton Marauders. The Stone Crabs lead the season series 9-4, including a three game sweep during the last meeting back in June. So far this season, the Stone Crabs have outscored their northern rivals 76-47 and have a team batting average of .292 and a team ERA of 3.05 in the series.

The Stone Crabs need to continue their success against the Marauders in order to make a run towards the postseason. Heading into the series, the Marauders by 3 ½ games with twenty games left in the season. Seven of the remaining games will feature head to head match-ups between the Stone Crabs and Marauders, a make it or break it series for both clubs.

Travel Guide
The Bradenton Marauders play their home games at McKechnie Field which is located at 1611 9th Street West in downtown Bradenton. The stadium is 56 miles from Charlotte Sports Park or about an hour drive.

Tickets for games at McKechnie Field can be purchased by visiting BradentonMarauders.com and are $7 for an adult ticket, $6 for a senior citizen ticket or $5 for students/military or children under 12. All seats are general admission with season seats being marked with a sticker on the seatback. Parking is free in the lot behind the Boys and Girls club located past the centerfield wall, closer parking is available in private business lots near the entrance at home plate for a fee set by the business. Full-Season Ticket holders with the Stone Crabs can use their VIP card for free admission to the Stone Crabs road games in Bradenton.
