Former Stone Crab Wrigley Named Southern League Player of the Week

Former Stone Crab slugger Henry Wrigley was named the Southern League Hitter of the Week for the week ending on August 14. He is currently on an eleven game hitting streak. Wrigley was 9 for 19 with 2 doubles, 3 home runs and 6 RBI’s on the week, increasing his average to .286 on the season.

Wrigley spent a season with the Stone Crabs split between the end of 2009 and the beginning of 2010. He was a combined .269/.446/.306 hitter with 28 doubles, 5 triples and 18 home runs in 138 games for the Stone Crabs.
