Hitter of the Month

Mike Sheridan led the Stone Crabs this month by hitting .348 with 7 doubles, 1 home runs and 15 RBI’s. His 31 hits and 7 doubles led the Stone Crabs during the month of June. He has enjoyed a string of 10 multiple hit games during the month. Sheridan is now hitting .265/.377/.286 with 19 doubles, 1 triple, 3 home runs and 38 RBI’s in 67 games this season.

Pitcher of the Month

Adam Liberatore led the Stone Crabs this month with a 0.96 ERA. He struck out 15 hitters and allowed just 2 earned runs in 8 games this month. Liberatore also moved into a tie for the league lead in inducing double plays with 13 on the season. This season he is 2-1 with one save and a 2.65 ERA with 38 strikeouts in 22 games.

Honorable Mention

Tyler Bortnick led the Stone Crabs in on-base percentage this month with a .402 OBP. He hit .315 with 4 double, 2 home runs and 16 RBI’s. He stole 11 bases this month which moved him into a tie for first place in the Florida State League.

Greg Sexton led the Stone Crabs and the Florida State League in RBI’s at the conclusion of the month prior to his promotion to Montgomery at the end of June. He was 10 for 19 during his final homestand prior to being called up.

Scott Shuman led the pitchers this month in strikeouts with 23. He finished the month with a 2.31 ERA and 1 save. Shuman tops all FSL relievers with a 15.79 SO/9 ratio.
